Totally loved Julie Kagawa’s ‘An Iron Fey Valentine!’

Eased the pain of missing Ash and Meghan somewhat.

This made my Valentine’s day!

Here’s the link, by the way, if you haven’t read it yet. Enjoy!

To Hit, or Not to Hit

  • Meghan: But...but what if I hit you?
  • Ash: *snorts* You're not going to hit me.
  • Meghan: How do you know? I could hit you. Even master swordsmen make mistakes. I could get a luck shot, or you might not see me coming. I don't want to hurt you.
  • Ash: And how much experience do you have with swords and weapons in general?
  • Meghan: Um. Thirty seconds?
  • Ash: You're not going to hit me.

Pick ‘hard books.’ Ones you have to concentrate on while reading. And for god’s sake, don’t let me ever hear you say, ‘I can’t read fiction. I only have time for the truth.’ Fiction is the truth, fool! Ever hear of ‘literature’? That means fiction, too, stupid.
